University of cincinnati
For the University of Cincinnati’s “Next Lives Here” campaign, I was brought in to shape the visual storytelling and design system that would carry a bold, unifying message across a wide range of materials. The campaign needed to feel both fresh and distinctly UC—something that could break through the sameness of higher ed marketing while staying rooted in the university’s legacy. My role centered on translating the strategic narrative into a cohesive design language, one that could flex across audiences and formats without losing its personality. From the undergraduate viewbook to social media templates, every piece was crafted to reflect a brand that’s visionary, tenacious, personal, uplifting, and fun.
The visual system paired dynamic typography and bold color treatments with layered, story-driven layouts to highlight both individual impact and collective momentum. I led the design of the campaign presentation itself, building a clear and compelling structure that not only sold the concept internally but also set the tone for how it would show up externally. Whether developing layouts for print or digital, my goal was to make “Next Lives Here” feel like more than a tagline—it became a visual experience that embodied UC’s forward-thinking spirit.
